Created in 2000, Atelier Di Cavalcanti operates in the Brazilian and international market, carrying out work on old and new instruments, always prioritizing originality and high level, both in the raw material used in interventions, and in the techniques used in each stage of the work, counting on internationally renowned partners, for work such as insurance and instrument certifications.

In addition to specializing in restorations and special configurations, the studio also has the production of new instruments, purchase and sale of old instruments and evaluations with certificate of authenticity of instruments, in addition to purchase, sale, maintenance and restorations of old and new bows.

Construction

Di Cavalcanti instruments follow a refined standard of finishing, and from the beginning of the process, that is, the choice of material, the most careful criteria are taken into account to achieve the most refined result. The search for excellence has been constant in the physical and intellectual trajectory of the studio.

​Maintenance

Instruments from the fretted string family have always been considered sensitive to some weather conditions, or even abrupt changes in relative air humidity.

Restoration

Rudson Di Cavalcanti has been dedicated to restoring instruments since the beginning of his career, however, he specialized in Padova with Maestro Giovanni Lazzaro, with whom he maintains an intense collaboration and annually leaves his studio in São Paulo to work alongside the master in Salzburg and Cremona.
